Product Description

A refined reinterpretation of vintage Japanese silk and classic neckwear — this handcrafted cravat is made from a high-quality vintage komon kimono in 100% silk, featuring traditional stencil-dyed patterning.

The textile is adorned with an all-over chrysanthemum motif, known as kiku-zukushi, creating a lively yet graceful surface rich in rhythm and detail. Its soft palette of warm ivory, rose, burgundy, pale blue, and grey gives the piece a refined vintage character that pairs beautifully with both classic tailoring and relaxed shirting.

Designed to be worn not only as a cravat, but also as a scarf or an alternative to a necktie, it brings a graceful Japanese textile accent to jackets, coats, and shirts. Because each piece is cut from a different section of a vintage kimono, every cravat reveals its own unique balance of pattern and color.

About the Cravat

The cravat is a classic form of neckwear that predates the modern necktie, long associated with tailored dress and expressive personal style.

This piece reimagines that tradition through vintage Japanese silk, designed to feel distinctive, refined, and easy to incorporate into modern styling.
