Notes on Vintage Textiles
This skirt is made from a vintage obi. Subtle historical traces, minor thread irregularities, or natural variations in the textile may be present. These are part of the character of vintage Japanese silk and do not affect wearability.
To reduce stress on the delicate obi fabric, some inner seams are finished with zigzag stitching rather than overlock stitching, especially where this helps preserve the textile or reduce visibility on lighter areas.
